‘Nandi’ the bull is Lord Shiva's mystical vehicle. Nandi is usually depicted at the entrance of many Hindu temples and worship places as a gatekeeper of Lord Shiva’s abode. Ornamented and decorated, this sculpture has been created using ancient Dhokra Art which dates back to pre-historic time of Harrappa and Mohenjodaro period of Indus Valley Civilization.
